“Mike is under a tree in the quad, he’s on a deck outside the margarita bar, he’s on stage at the pavillion, he’s sitting on your couch in the livingroom. Mike’s music transcends location and time, truely to be enjoyed yesterday, today and 30 years from now wherever you may be… here or there.”

The beginnings of BS trace back to summers on Cape Cod where Rich strummed his guitar in the bars, a typical college student trying to earn money. In the late ‘90’s, the band “5past40” officially formed with Kevin, the Beatles lover, on bass. By 2005, some original members left and the band was renamed Bigelow Station when Mike joined Kevin and Rich, displaying his musical talent on guitar, drums, and vocals. Robin joined on flute after hearing its absence in some of the Marshal Tucker songs at the Uptown Pub in Franklin. Ben joined on drums (bongo & chimes) in 2011 and Keith most recently on keyboards to complete the sound of a classic rock band. Sadly, Kevin joined a heavenly band in January 2016 so now Greg continues the legacy on bass guitar. BS plays monthly at local bars and annually in the fall to raise money for different charities.
Jennifer Tefft is a fired up, energizing presence who pulls earthy music from its roots and breathes fresh, soulful, rock and roll life into them. Her music combines intense rhythms with melancholy textures and haunting vocals that wind easily from darkly ethereal to outspoken, creating her own brand of Gritty-Lush Alternative Rock.
